er uh guys, you realize you don't need a ~650W PSU to power a 5770/4870? I Bet with 800 bucks you could get a 5850 with a i5 if you build it right.

If its being built ground up, (meaning all new parts) you shouldn't even be considering going for the 955/965. the i5 outperforms it in every single way. I mean ... x16/x16 AMD mother boards start at like 160$ + dollars anyway.. Also if its a budget build and he wants nvidia, I would wait till the 300 series is released so you can get a gtx260/275 for a lower price. buying a Nvidia card at the current time is kind of a bad idea, since they wont drop the prices on the 200 series till lolfermi is released. with that said, you're better off getting a 5770/5850 for now.

we found a combo deal for the Foxconn Inferno Katana NON GTI and g skill ripjaw 2000mhz 4GB memory kit together for $285. we are definitly getting this bundle
