Exclamation Urgent problem!

Hey all!

So my neighbour has the following configuration:
17inch crt monitor
Intel e5200 cpu
MSI MS-7392 mobo
2sticks of zeppelin memory ddr2 800(2gigs in total)
ATI 3850 gpu
Corsair 400w.

When he turns on the pc the monitor keeps saying no signal and the pc runs normally no beeps or nothing. And sometimes when he powers it on it turns on for a sec and then turns on and only then stays on.

How can i help him fix this??

Might be a GPU problem. Do you have another one laying around you could test with?

Agreed. Since clearing the CMOS only takes a few seconds and is free, always try it when having problems like this.

The PC doesnt beep at all? Usually most PCs will beep once to indicate successful POST. Could be faulty motherboard. Try booting with just one stick of RAM.

Also one of by best tricks is to take everything out, and then boot it up on a table or something. If it works, just put it in the case again.
