Default Did I fry up my CPU and Motherboard

first off, Push Pins are the devil, I from now on will only deal with coolers that have a screwable backplate on it.

/rants

anyways it looks like I bent some pins or some fell off from the pressure of trying to put a huge OCZ HSF on a 775 board. My main fear is that I might have fried my e8200 but I have no mobo right now that supports a 1333 FSB

anyone know if a CPU can still be fine and look like this? notice the bottom right bronze stain, is that something that could destroy the entire CPU?

here is the motherboard bin damage in the same place where the CPU damage fit.

I think I'd see if I could straighten the pins in ths socket before declaring anything dead. Try using some watchmakers screwdrivers and very fine pointed tweezers if you have them.

Need WAY better pics.

I took my Pent D out one day, had 2 Black circles on 2 of the Pads (Burn marks)
Was when my PSU Blew i think (1.6 Vcore, Hairong PSU)
I just Used an Eraser, rubbed off the black marks, got a new PSU...and it worked fine?

As for the bent Pins....I say ghetto mod them back into place?
make sure they are as close as possible to where they should be, and try it?
though, if someone else says something about this, listen to them.

The PSU still works because I tested it so luckily thats not a problem

I might just get a jeweler to fix the pins because they are bent all the way down and the tweezers I have are still to big
