hell i have 2 gtx 280's on a 650 watt but going to put them on a 750 just for the heck of it. so if you want to go for something that big you can but you dont have to.

I'd go with the modular, but it realy depends on the case you get, if you get a midtower definitely go with the modular.

If you get the Megahalems, get something like a 38mm thick Panaflo with the 38mm fan clips.
__________________Modular PSUs are nicer for smaller cases. With full tower cases, you can just shove the cables somewhere behind the motherboard tray or some other bay.
