Default [HELP] No Response from Monitor

So today my computer started acting up. When i turn it on all the fans come on and it turns on however there is no response on the monitor. I've tried only putting 1 stick of RAM and tried each slot but still nothing on the monitor. I know the monitor is working. The monitor can sense that it is connected to something but nothing shows up. Not even a boot screen.

Have you done the following:

1. Plugged the monitor into another computer?
2. Plugged another monitor into the suspect computer?

Without doing these two things you can't rule out a possible video card issue.

Do you hear a POST beep? Or does your mobo have a POST code indicator? I think your monitor is probably fine but it sounds like your mobo might be broken if there's no POST and no video. Try clearing CMOS as that might be the problem.

Mine did the same thing once and all it was a because of a bad contact on the mobo standoffs inside the case. Like and idiot i painted the standoffs not realizing they made contact to the case and the mother board for a reason. I found this out after I put the board into another case of mine and the computer came up. replaced the standoffs and it still worked.
