Default $400 for a non gamer

So I wanna build my first pc I never done this before only changed parts.
I only plan spending $400 or less if possible. I only need a PSU, CPU, Mobo, RAMS and a GPU.

2.6Ghz Quad, HD4200 integrated video in the MB, which will handle all non-gaming needs, and even low to medium settings of most games.

I'd go for this too.
and get a cheap graphic card such as 4350 or used 3870, 4850 then u'll get a nice gaming desktop

my sig build is for HoN and it plays 1920x1080 with med-high setting flawless!!

This is my choice as well. The Phenom II x4 6xx processors are of great value compared to other quad core cpu's.

i'd go for the AMD solution as well.

AMD at the moment is simply the better value for budget builds.

what case are you putting all this in? And is overclocking something your interested in? Maybe a nice little mugen 2 i hear those propus cores are good for 3.6 ghz

And no HDD?
