Hey guys, So I was playing TF2 today. and all of a sudden my computer shut off. I didn't know what happend so I just unplugged it and replugged it. It then booted windows and as soon as I started TF2 same thing again. Everytime after that It turns on for 2 secs turns off and then turns on again but no video. I really need this computer for the weekend so any help would be awesome.

Check your connections, make sure all your power plugs are all the way in on the mobo and video card. Unplug them and then replug them. If that doesn't work I am thinking bad power supply, try another one if you have it.

Well the weird thing is if I take it all apart and take the board out of the case. Then boot with Video Card, 1 stick of ram, and the cpu it boots. Then if i add more ram it works, then i add the hd and turn it on again, then i finally put it all on a desk and hook it up and it's fine. Is my PSU weak? If i need a new one ill get it.

PSU might be struggling with everything you have in there. No idea how much a 7800GTX draws in terms of power...

Hmm maybe your video card is overheating .
Download Hwmonitor or Realtemp or Coretemp I think monitors GPu as well or Everest http://www.lavalys.com/products.php?...lang=en&page=1 http://www.cpuid.com/hwmonitor.php http://www.techpowerup.com/realtemp/ http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/

Sounds like your case is shorting out your motherboard, make sure nothing is touching and all your standoffs are in and and tightened. Seems like something metal is shorting your board.

Does it power up and back down immediately even if you leave it for a while, or only after it's recently shut down? Restore everything to stock when system stability is in question, especially like this. Lose the OC on your card for now, definitely. Get some temperature monitoring going.
