Default Not another "Best build thread"...

Sorry, its one of these threads...AND...theres a budget
Well, I'm looking at building a new rig, gonna make the order tomorrow or sometime over the upcoming weekend.
I've been checking into the i7, after being yelled at enough times in the past few days by my fiance , I've decided to put a budget on the build, and have since been leaning to an i5 build, but a C2Q isn't completely out of the question. I'm a pretty diehard nvidia fan as well, so I would prefer to stick with what I know, but am not 100% against an ATi card if the performance/value ratio completely eclipses an nvidia product within this budget build. That being said, the absolute max for this build is 850 bucks -shipped-. Now, on top of that I need everything less a PSU, DVD drive(s) and would prefer to go with windows 7 64. I would also prefer to go with a case that shares its style with the antec 900/1200 (I'd actually prefer an antec 1200 if $ willing).
As I'll be placing this order within the next 24-48 hours, I think it would be safe to take advantage of any newegg specials/combos going on.
The computer will be mostly used for gaming and photoshop as well.

On a side note, whoever can come up with the build Im most pleased with, will receive a tip via paypal.

Thanks in advance OCN

Doesn't have to be, I was looking at this 250GTS but once again, if the price-->performance leans to a 2x card setup, thats fine.

Appreciated for the quick response on that Huntee, the build I was going over myself was almost identical, the downside is, fitting the ~110 bucks for windows 7 with a similar build and trying to stay within the 850-900$ limit. Finding the most "forgiving" areas to skimp the build to make up the cash is gonna be the key to getting it into the budget.

A GTS 250 won't offer much better performance than your current card at all. So if this rig is for gaming, you might wanna rethink how you've split your budget.

A Phenom II 550 on a 785G board (which can possibly unlock to a quad) will leave you with enough budget to buy a 5770 or a 4890 (or even a 5850). Some serious gaming cards.
