I think the problem is my GPU, but I don't know why it is causing the problem.
If I overclock the GPU enough and start up crysis, the computer will hard reset(no BSOD, the PSU or mobo literally resets) just like it does when folding. After a few hours of GPU folding, the computer resets. Even the case fans/lights turn off. I have my card only at 675 core, and the stock is 655 core, so I don't think it is the overclock. I've tried folding on just CPU and the computer does not crash, but it did when I was folding on the GPU. So what could cause a hard reset like this? Bad PSU, GPU, or motherboard? EDIT: IT IS THE PSU! F M L

Sounds like the PSU. see if a friend has one you could use to test this.
the card wouldn't stop the fans a light ect.

Yeah it just did it again
. I think it's the PSU. What do I do now? Do you think it's just a bad PSU and RMA will solve it, or should I get a Corsair?

.Never crashed during 5+ hours of playing crysis, never crashed during any games, Linx or Prime95. OH EVEN BETTER! Look at what I found when I returned to Newegg to RMA it. Quote:

Well basically that's newegg saying o ya that was a Piece we sold you and btw our warranty 4 is blows so try to consult the manfac and tell them another one of their products dosent like life... and they are like "F$@k this thats like number 932 of these square paper waits we have gotten this month" I'm state it now that PSU have a mind of their own and chose what they like to supply power for. I guess ur PSU hates Stanford...
