Make sure all your connections are tight.
Removed all the RAM but one stick yet? Test each individual stick.

I call for a paper clip test mate.
Do you know how? Take a paperclip, bend it into a U shape. Then, put one end into a grounding wire hole (a hole connected to a black wire) then take the other end and put it in the green hole. There should only be one. Flip on the PSU and if it goes up and stays on, it's more than likely not a PSU issue. Did you pull out anything or touch anything when changing out the PSUs?

You're not comfortable performing the paperclip test?
![]() If it were a bad hard drive, it would just show a black screen with a blinking white underscore or else it'd tell you to check the drive for an operating system and/or faults. So I doubt that's it. Boot into BIOS and mess around with some settings? Set everything to default and auto and whatnot... Especially RAM volts at auto. Maybe the settings got messed up.

thing is i dont want to mess up the p/s ya know, its 6 hours old lol. its just a precaution as i dont think it's the p/s nemore. It won't even let me post into BIOS or go into boot, its like it just freezes. now i've had this problem before, and it was with the same copy of windows XP i used on this comp before RC came out. i suspect it to be windows, but one can never be sure.

The paperclip test is not dangerous at all. I do it on all my PSUs, and it's been a saving grace for all my issues. If it kills your PSU, I will buy you a new computer.
![]() Anyways... Maybe try Linux? ![]() Pop in a live CD see what happens. Mayhaps clearing CMOS if you can't boot into that? We need other people in on this thread O.o

Only four more to go now
![]() Ubuntu is win. Hopefully you'll be able to get in. That'll narrow it down a bit. And when I say a bit, I mean it'll take everything off the board, and point us at Windows to being the culprit.
