Have you pulled the battery, unplugged the psu and hit the power button a couple of times to do a hard CMOS reset? Also I cant believe you don't need standoffs but I guess if your Video card mounted properly it's possible.

No i dont need standoffs. I just took everything out my case and connected it outside my case. Still the same....

Yeah i tried taking out the battery and pressing the power switch repeatively and holding it for 10 seconds too. Still the same..

But one thing i think it might be is when it starts it states the bios as 2006. So im guess the bios is outdated for the processor ?? E6300 2.8ghz. Put how would i go about flashing the bios if i cant get into boot select or anything??

Im fed up of this now, paid for all this and cant get it working.

Anyone got anymore suggestions??
I will leave the computer out of the case for now.

Cheers

Are you getting any BEEPS? If so refer to your MB manual for definitions.

I know it does not seem logical but if you can get hold of another graphics card might as well give it a shot.

No bleeps i dont think... I plugged in the case speaker.

As for trying a different graphics card, the only ones i can get a hold of the try is of one of my brothers and they are too big for my case and my PSU dont have enough power to run one..

Its getting annoying now.

What about putting your chip in your brother's motherboard? or your video card in your brother's system?

He seems to have compatible hardware that might work

Well that means he would have to reapply thermal paste and buy some more.
And plus he's having problems with his computer anyways lol, it just power cycles and dont come on. It hasnt all day.

But i dont think it is a CPU problem. On the screen i get it shows the CPU. and tell me the speed its running at. So im guessing its not a cpu problem. I dont understand how a little problem stops me from entering my bios and making the computer totally unusable.

Bet there isnt a way of updating the bios is there ?? As it doesnt get further enough to even read cdroms or floppy drives.

Any other suggestions??

I would check the CPU cooler is seated correctly, could be a thermal shutdown.
