Ok i just tried what you said, i pulled out the ram and i got 3 bleeps. So the speaker is working. And the insert on system boot dont work.

I tried pressing F11 repeatably though and it says

And stays like that. Freezing again
Any suggestions?

That's quite positive actually; means there isn't a problem with the CPU/memory at least.
Normally the default boot order would be; floppy, HDD, CD, third device and the system would look to see the devices in that order. The popup should list the devices it has found.....except you aren't getting a popup? Just to make sure; you are hitting F2 repeatedly as the system boots and your keyboard isn't one of those weird ones which disables the F keys initially? I would even try "delete" in case the manual is wrong btw. Also try booting with no HDD or CD and see if it comes up with an error message.

Nope no pop up.
I tried hitting F2 again nothing.
I tried Delete too.. Nothing..
Its like its forgot the F2 to setup since i reset the bios. It dont show as it used to. But i couldnt get in it before..

You say Floppy is usually the first in the default boot sequence. Should i try and find a bios update for my board and try and flash it.. I got a spare Floppy drive in my other computer????

I would see if you can get it to recognise the floppy; ie put in a bootable floppy and see if it gets you into DOS, but I wouldn't try flashing the BIOS at this stage. Make sure the HDD and CD are not connected as they use different controllers. You could also try just the CD player; the chances of three different controllers being faulty is slim. The lack of access to the BIOS is really confusing me to be honest?

Another long shot but a bad overclock will often bring up the BIOS, perhaps selecting the wrong FSB on jumper No 31 will scare it into normality?

There is such a thing, oddly rare though as I've only seen one and I still have it.

I have reset the bios
MB battery usually lasts about 3 years but you never know. Usually around 2.7ish volts or lower things can start acting up. The first clue is your time stamp lags behind.

Saying that about overclocking. One thing i didnt add was..
Because my brother had the motherboard before with a quad core he did a little overclock and he left it overclocked when he transfered his components. When i put in my CPU it did the screen i have now but the speed was 3.0ghz.
But i doubt this had something to do with the problem ??
At this point i reset the bios by taking out the battery. And it changed to 2.8ghz.

Anyways, i have already tried putting a bootable CD into the CD Drive, nothing.. I tried XP Install.

And what bootable DOS could i put on a floppy disc to test this?? Could you link me to something that i could use to test to see if i can use the floppy?

Thanks

Bootdisk.com. Just write an fDisk floppy, for example.

Edit; daft as it sounds make sure you have a mouse connected, this will stop some systems completing the POST.

Ok i will make a Floppy disc now and try it out. And i looked at my MB on the internet and found this list of compatible CPU's
http://www.asrock.com/mb/cpu.asp?Model=4Core1333-GLAN
I cant find mine. Do you think it is not compatible. Could you have a look for me please as i do this. I did Ctrl+f and typed E6300 and all there is on there is the older 6300.
What you think ?

Edit: Ohhh and which one i gotta download?

Your CPU is fine, otherwise you would get a whole load of nothing showing up! Scroll down that page and you will see a link for FDISK; you don't really need it but you DO need to see if your board will boot from the floppy.
Had a Google about your problem; one esoteric bit of advice was to unplug the three pin power cable from your PSU between attempts at booting? What did seem common to this problem is people changing a lot of components; even though you would think the BIOS clearing would sort that. Does look as if your mobo might be toast btw, but you can but try.

Why would my MB be toast if my brother was using it only 2 weeks ago without a problem. And what should i do if this Fdisk works??

Im having problem formatting the floppy disc so i can add the fdisk app.

Im not too experienced in Floppy drives lol
