Default $600 Gaming PC Help*

I'm looking into parts for a friend and need some input for some mid-range parts. I can build high-end, but don't know the best parts/performance/price for a lower end rig. I want to use an Intel with Nvidia chipset. It has to cost lower than 600, so 599 total with case (cant figure out how much his case is,Link to Barebone hes looking at. He's also ordering everything tomorrow (fun rite?). Any help would be great.

True that. What's the point of going on these forums if you're interested in barebones?

OP, for $600 I would get AMD.. it kicks that barebones butt

AMD II X3 720
ASUS AM3
4GB Crucial DDR3 1066
Sony DVD
Antec 300
WD 640GB
OCZ 550Watt
HD 5750

Total comes up about $635 after $30 MIR
A little over your budget but eh, if you really want to stay on the mark then reduce ram to 2GB or we can find a cheaper , less powerful PSU since that video card isnt going to need a whole lot
AMD Phenom II X3 720 > C2D E8400
