Default best way to OC on OEM

I got told to use CPU cool to do this, but is this the best option, there isnt a modded bios for the P4SD-LA. CPU cool does support my motherboard PLL though and let me change FSB speed, but is this the best option

If it comes from HP (Like a HP Pavilion), then forget it. The motherboard doesn't let you to OC your things out... (I'm talking about PC tools on the OS)

That's pretty weird, it doesn't let me do it. Oh well... If there isn't any modded bios for that model = no OC in bios... The only option left would be to use a PC tool (Like you did), if that works well, then go for it (Though I wouldn't recommend it.)

Well i'm not sure, I think all OC software is pretty much the same. I personally like ClockGen thought, went from a 1.8GHz Sempron to 2.35GHz.

Clockgen is a possible solution.

Please do some reading prior to trying this software as there are possible short-comings.

A BSEL mod could be an option for a hardware overclock, and probably will be more stable in the long-run. There's a guide somewhere on this forum that has some details for this mod.
