Default Is my build all compatible and overclockable?

Is my build 100% compatible, and overclockable? Will cooling be sufficient with that case? This was supposed to be a $400 budget gaming build, but now its turned into $564.93 . Is the ocz psu important? Or would any old psu that comes with a case work fine? Anyway, I just want to play games like cod mf2 and gta iv on a resolution of 1280x1024 or 1024x768 with decent graphic settings. I don't know if I made the right choice for a hard drive, I prefer more speed than space. Thank you in advance.

EDIT: When building, I kept the thought of a quality mobo psu and ram in mind.. But is it really all that important?

Your build looks fine, but you might want to get a quad-core AMD setup with DDR3 since DDR2 is so expensive right now. That gts250 isn't worth it for the money though.
The motherboard will also have little to no overclocking headroom so thats something to think about as well.

DDR3 is still slightly more expensive, and AM3 is waaaaaaaay more expensive. And, there is no way in hell you can get a quad core on his budget.

I don't think that board is very overclockable.

Your GTS 250 is way overpriced. You can get a 4850 ATI that does just as good for a lot less.

Why not just compromise between dual or quad and get a tri-core? lol.

True that, but I think spending that extra $30-40 of his for like a E7300/7400/7500 would give him better for his money in the end.

the GPU here is highly recommended. the 4870 is a great card and gives you more for your money than that certain GTS 250 (GTS250 = ATI 4850, in performance)

I also have a slightly used 5750 (just for about 2 weeks) I can sell you for $110 if you're interested. It's pretty much a DX11 4850. (Mods please remove this if against the rules)

updated my post above.
Still leaves enough money to put toward a better video card if a 4830 isn't enough for you.
