Mobo is year and half old. Yeah, im gonna try and get new one on warranty, cuz there cant be any connection made with O/Cing it, it didnt blow anywhere near places that heat is generated.

Taeric had something similar on his board when his Southbridge blew, but not as severe as this!

well by the looks of it, dust caused this. everyone look at the pic of his cpu cooler, look how muc dust is there.
__________________my guess would be that dust accumulated at the bottom and caused a short or a spark, the dust caught on fire and caused the board to catch. now wheres my beer? lol

The MB was cleaned by air compressor just week before, should have seen it then
__________________ I almost scared myself when i looked in. Before it was cleaned if this happend i would put in on dust too, but this was after cleaning it.btw  (i have to get drunk after loseing MB anyway )

Gosh dang..... sorry man... I have similar mobo and processor and I think you just scared me so much I don't wanna overclock.... My big typhoon is comming tomorrow...oh well, hope mine doesn't blow...
