Default Performance Difference between G.skill 2gb HZ and OCZ gold XTC

I'm thinking about what ram to put into my new e6600 rig..

What is the performance difference between the G.Skill F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ and the OCZ PC6400 Gold XTC?

Thanks

Probably very little as far as OCing goes... both should be D9 ICs.

look for ram with very low timings i.e. 4-4-4-12. The ocz platinum xtc rev 2 have those timings. As far as i know the ocz golds that you are talking about have 5-5-5-15 timings which limit its overclock capabilities.
