Default How do I find what RAM I have?

How do i find the make of my ram?

It says M-RAM on the ram itself and thats it :\

I need to buy more of the same ram and cant find out where to buy it any ideas?

Yeh i thought it would but it doesnt lol :| is there anything else that can detect it i mean the ram doesnt even tell me ????

Generic RAM isn't usually encoded with the needed info.
If you could post what is etched in the ICs (chips) someone may be able to decode them for you... or search that on your own.

Hmm ill have to rign where i got it from to find out i think will be best.


But for plan 2 where can i get 2Gb ram for cheap in UK ? Decent makes.

Cheapest i can find is £82

Hmm i too the ram out but every code i type in google wont show me what make it is :\


Also the place i got from says its suppose to be Corsairs or major brand ram :\
but its NOT so will i be to ring them and tell them and get it replaced?

Ive had the PC since JAN or FEB but im still allowed to get a refund if its nto right? right?

depends where you bought it from, if its from a retailer then yeh you should be able to rma it.

Yeh its from Cyberpower i got it with the PC i cant belive its not what i orderd i never thought to check it the day i got it.

Its supposed to be Corsair or any MAJOR brand Ram.

But its RAM that has no name lol :\

I really need to find my invoice and do a full PC check now.
