Default Patriot DDR2 800mhz RAM query...

hi everyone...

it's been awhile...

i've just ordered this ram - can someone please tell me what they think of it...

now before you lay into me about it not being Corsair or anything, and only 1GB of it as well, let's consider that i currently have 2 x 512MB DDR@ 533mhz Hynix memory, so this will definitely be an upgrade...

right, go for it...

what's your thoughts...

p.s. thanks all, once again...

Patriot is a relatively high-quality brand. I have a pair of modules from them, and although they do run hot, they're fast and can overclock very easily. This is in part due to my D9-based sticks, but I think you will have a pleasant experience. Also, because yours is a 1GB module without a heatspreader, you can put custom ones on, and add another one later for 2GB.
