Intel Overclocker

I'm building a new rig next month, and I want to know what the best ram is for $100 or less. I was originally looking at the G-Skill (idk which one... but reviews say great overclocker and it was priced a little over $100).

Either Crucial Ballistics DDR2-800 (2 x 1gb) or Gkill HZ DDR2-800 (2 x 1gb).

I'd recommend the P35-DS3R instead of the 965P-DS3.
RAM: 2GB Crucial Ballistix PC2-6400.

I've got this. Newegg.com carries a 2 gig set of Geil DDR2 800 that uses Micron D9GMH chips. They are incredible. You can OC them up to (and maybe beyond) 1000 MHz, and you can tighten their timings down to 4-3-3-4. The link is below.

I suggest you use the ballistix over the geil and HZs over those, for the quality of the heat spreaders, they all use Micron D9XX and all scale well with voltage making tem great overclockers, the new P35-DS3 is a new mobo made by them that uses the P35 chipset instead of the 965chipset, the new P35 chipset is topping the OC charts, person experience I'd also suggest the P35 aswell it allows me to get my Q6600 up to 3.2 stable(first boot) haven't played much after that, and others are into the $Ghz with theirs, this chipset is an OC beast!

Wait 24 hours before bumping.
The HZs are a model. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231065 Those, to be specific. They've risen in price lately, they were $105 a week ago.
