Board Chipset with G33 Intel
Wonderin If possiable to setup 3GB Dual Channel.
Or does the rule still work one stick on each side.

Unless there are 4 DIMM slots (and you put 2x1GB and 2x512mb), it isn't really possible.

Even then I wouldn't recommend it.

Like choggs said, its better to either have 2X1gb, or 2X 2gb, or 4X1gb, mixing ram is never the best reccomendation

3GB Dual Channel works fine. 2x1GB + 2x512MB.
