I found the original maker of the list that is posted and I have emailed him for assistance. Just waiting on a reply. Even though the list is outdated it is the most up to date list on the web that I've been able to find.

OK, here it it. The list posted is made from ppl submitting what ICs their ram has. Then the lists are updated. Even though this is not a perfect list it seems to be the best one I can find in pages and pages of google searchs.

I would seriously consider replacing your use of the word "IC" with DRAM as that is more specific and well while your wording is not technically incorrect it is unnecessarily vague. You are in fact referring to a specific component of a RAM module and it is a DRAM chip. Yes it is an IC but I hope you get my point. It is also helpful for the newer members to learn that, DRAM builds greater understanding I think. And the PCB does play a slight role in performance. At least if you read the press releases from some of the company's you praise as the reality is that is all they actually do. Manufacture the PCB and assemble? Just thoughts. But nice info.

I wrote a much less detailed similar about DRAM and SODIMMS on NBR. As you know us notebooker's have so many less options so for the most part all the same sticks.

Good info, nice job! +rep. Oh and lots of info!

Yea, I'm still learning.

We need a thread for ppl to submit OC results with DRAM. This would help keep a currant track of which modules are good clockers.
