Hi all. I am going to upgrade my friends PC. He has an older Dell Dimension 4550. I know it takes up to 1GB SDRAM (pc3200). I am wondering if A-Data memory is compatible or if anyone knows where I can get a compatible memory list?

It's all about speed, socket, size, and buffered\unbuffered swerve. Just check what type of RAM he has in it now to verify if it's unbufferd or buffered. Once you have that verified you should be able to find the max speed the motherboard can handle for RAM, and just be sure you buy SDRAM.
