Default Strange RAM problem

Recently in the past few months my computer has randomly restarted, usually once per day. I know it is one of the 2 pieces of ram in my computer, so I take out the 2nd stick and my computer doesn't crash for a week. Then I put it back in and it crashes the next day. So I buy 2 sticks of value ram from newegg, take out the stick that is causing problems and put in the 2 new sticks. After that my computer was rebooting by itself every 15minutes. So I buy 2 better sticks of patriot ram and the same thing happens except less often. All the ram I have bought is compatible with my motherboard. I have tried putting the ram in different slots, nothing works. I have ran memtest86 for 2 hours and it passed. But I did see something weird on memtest the timing of the ram was 5-4-4-12 but on the patriot install guide it says the timing is 4-4-4-12 and on memtest is showed the ram running at 331mhz but the guide also said 667mhz.

My motherboard is a ECS 945-P 1 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813135208

The Ram I have is http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16820220095

Could the problem be my motherboard or timing or have I just been buying bad ram?

I don't think it is RAM. Run chkdisk

How old is your MOBO?

its not your ram at all. I think that ecs can't supply enough volts to your memory therfore making your ram unstable. look at the amount of voltage needed to run the memory and then look at how much the motherboard can give.
My last ECS chipset board could have only supplied 1.9 volts to the ram

My motherboard manual says it can support 1.8v and the ram requires 1.8v.

Edit

I forgot to mention that my computer will work fine when I only have 1 stick of the valueRAM in my computer.

random restarts = disk errors, power fluxuations, and heat.
any combination of the 3
heat=power fluxuations= disk errors=random restarts
times the speed of light=squared
but its all relative...

I have also noticed that I can browse the net and do other non 3d applications and my computer will not crash for hours but 5 minutes into a game that I load up I crash.

It might not be compatible to dual sided chips? That's all I can think of offhand. My mom's computer wouldn't even boot with 2 gb, but runs like a charm with 1.

I don't have another rig to swap it with. But I checked all the connections and they are fine, but I am still having the problem

The thing I find strange is that my computer can run fine with only 1 stick of ram.
