Default Need some good OC'able RAM for a new build.

I was originally looking at the OCZ Platinum 1066 2GB pair (here) ,but OCZ recommends that for best performance that you have the voltage set to 2.3V. That doesn't leave much room for an OC.

I just want some good, stable 1066 DDR2 Dual Channel RAM, that has some low latencies, and is good at overclocking. 2GB or 4GB pair, but nothing less than 2GB. I'll see how much I can afford after seeing what you guys can come up with, but keep in mind that I don't want to spend a fortune.

While I'm at it, what would be a good RAM cooler for this too? I know that this is the wrong place to ask about the cooler, but I'd rather ask here than start a new thread somewhere else.

Thanks for any help!

I love the Crucial Ballistix PC-6400 for price and Over Clocking. My sticks can oc to 1066Mhz on 2.0v @ 4-4-4-12 and hit as high as 1250Mhz @5-5-5-12. The best part is they are cheap. After MIR $39.99 at New EGG. I have 6x1gbs sticks 4gb in one PC and 2gb in a other.

These 2x2Gb G.Skill run at DDR2 1000 and will put less strain on your memory controller. They will need 5-5-5-15 timings at 2.1v. They are going for $110.

Be aware that newegg has started shipping the single sided Ballistix and they do not use the same Micron D9s as the older Ballistix. they are not OCing as well, but are still pretty good.

Ouch, I just got my new Ballistix sticks and they are the single sided ones. I have 4x1gb sticks of the older ones and now 2 of the new. I wish I would have known that before I ordered them.
