Thanks. My Antec 900 has four 120mm fans and a 210mm exhaust fan on top. If they seem warm, I'll add a copper heat spreader like:

Those should do nicely for 2.2 V or less, provided that they stay fixed to the IC and maintain good contact. I think they look really good too.

I would reccomend something that actually screws together, and something with a heat pipe and fins is even better. Check out these- or something similar. I have the Thermaltake model and they do a great job.

You will likely get heatspreaders with the memory. What's mentioned on tankguys is just a disclaimer so if you are one of the rare ones who doesn't, you can't complain.

I definately recommend a fan, however.

Itīs a pity that your board canīt run anything stable other then 1 : 1, coz you loose performance, but thatīs the way itīs sometimes.

Have you check out this.

G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 CL 4-4-3-5 2.0~2.1 Volts

http://www.gskill.com/indexen.html

I have heard that they shouldnīt be that bad, some have push then to 950-975 4-4-4-12, so maybe you can make 850 3-3-3 with them.

Abit Pro's regularly exceed 500 FSB. I have had mine to 530, booted ran SuperPi, but would not run Prime or Orthos. My problem is a poor batch for my E8400. I've tried 3 different RAM types and all of them performed well:
Ballistix 6400 2x2
Dominator 6400 1x2
OCZ Titanium 6400 1x2
Unless I have a defective mobo (and I have no reason to believe I do), I'm pretty sure my processor is the problem.

I'm confused why I would lose performance running 1:1. 1:1 is the most stable setting. If I needed a higher FSB, I would understand asynchronous mode. But since 424 FSB is the most my E8400 can use with stability, why would I want higher?

Increased Bandwidth and decreased Latency. Plain and simple.
