Hey all,
I'll make this short and sweet: How long should I run memtest86? I ran it today using the default, "standard" tests and it took about 40 minutes and it found no errors. Is that good enough? Should I run it all night? How do i get the program to continue a continous loop all night? AKA how do i get the program to keep testing the memory w/o stopping? Thanks, Nathan

Run it for however long you think makes it reliable. Plus, it depends what you are testing for.
If you are checking to see if your new ram sticks are defects, then two passes should be good enough. If you are checking for a stable overclock, you want to run only test 5 and test 8 for a few hours.
