Default RMA on Tracers

Ok heres what im pondering...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820148076

The tracers are a steal right now at at 60 shipped 40 mir. And if you read the MIR rules your allowed two MIRs per product per household.

So could you just buy them, sumbit MIR, Request RMA for instability issues and request double sided replacements?

Also would you RMA before or after you recieved the MIR?

You can RMA before you receive your MIR.

Read my PM that I replied to.

Also.. I guess it really depends on the person on Crucial's side. If single works, stick with it, RMA when they fail.

And, don't forget the two 1 GB flashdrives as a bonus item. They're free.

Yeah, Kinda curious aint it. They sell all the 1 sided ones and then get ready for a barage of RMA and still have single sided ones being made...but not sold????

I didn't quite understand that last sentence. The single sided RAM are cheaper to make for them.

Im saying that they have changed their product yes, but they still are making double sided ones never the less. So really how is it cheaper for them to just keep RMA'ing instead of just shipping out there double sided ones there having to use as replacements when there needed.

As in your situation and what will probably be mine.

Any way ill start a new thread if everything works out and im able to get double sided ones If I need to RMA. OH and REPPP for you blizzie for your help and because i just got 2 free 1 gb usb drives that i wouldnt have even caught!

Supposedly they're "leftovers."
And boy do they have a lot of those.

They produce since people need doubles to match their old double, etc. As with my case.

They just want to try and move everything towards the single sided end.
