Default Hello. ASUS P4P800-E Deluxe Memory Question.
Hello guys im new to the forums and i have a question. i have a
ASUS P4P800-E Deluxe motherboard with intel pentium 4. specs are:

+ Processor: intel pentium 4 2.6 ghz
+ MotherBoard:ASUS P4P800-E Deluxe
-Intel 865PE Chipset
-800/533/400 MHz FSB
-Dual-Channel DDR400 Memory
-Intel Hyper-Threading Technology
-ASUS Intelligence Features
-Wi-Fi slot for optional wireless LAN upgrade
+

i was curious on 2 things. what kind of ram can i buy?(DDR,DDR2,DDR3) and if it is just ddr as i believe can i upgrade to ddr2?

You need DDR (not DDR2 or DDR3).

no way to use ddr2? and if i need ddr any kind of ddr will work?

DDR2 physically will not fit into the slot on your motherboard.

You can have up to 4x1GB of PC3200 DDR RAM on your board.
