Default Ram for work-based application

Hi, i am going to assemble a desktop based on a bit leaning towards more work-based orientated desktop. I would be using either; MOBO - ASUS P5Q DELUXE or GIGABYTE EP45-DS3R, CPU - Q6600, PSU - ANTEC TRUPOWER 650W, GRAPHICS CARD ???, RAM ???. Could anyone refer me to some reliable yet fast rams with low clock latency to allow faster prefetching? My system would revolve around Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoDESK Inventor, AutoCAD 2009, MATLAB, LABVIEW and Visual Studio.net '08. I would kindly appreciate if anyone here could fill me in on the missing components thank you.

Default Budget >$200

i am looking at RAMs, which could deliver with low clock latency to handle applications like Adobe photoshop, illustrator, AutoDESK INVENTOR, AUTOCAD, MATLAB, Video Rendering etc.
