You have to set them to run at 1066MHz in the bios. The bios always defaults to 800MHz ram speed for any ram that's 800MHz or faster.

This was defaulting at 666, though. For some reason, OCing to 3.5ghz on the CPU enabled me to set this to 1066. It's weird, but it's now working.

Need to raise this issue again.

This RAM makes overclocking difficult. When I want to return to stock speeds it defaults to 667mhz for some reason and becomes a chore to get it back to 1066mhz, if it even goes back at all and it's a stroke of luck rather than any skill.

I think this is common with all four DIMM slots being used, isn't it?

Would I find that my RAM will use the "SLI READY" option on my motherboard and auto select 1066mhz if I buy a 4GB (2x2GB) pair?

Currently I have:

Memory Voltage either 2.1v or 2.2v (neither seem to make a difference)
CPU voltate is 1.3v
NB voltage is 1.40v

Is 5-5-5-15 not my recommended? You think changing to 11 will make that bit of difference?

EDIT:

At any rate, I'm going to install my sound card drivers and try that setup. I'll get back to you!

Didn't work

I managed to trick my motherboard into running stock by setting my multi to 6, setting th FSB to stock, getting that to post, then upping the multi.

Should I just give up and stay like this or will a 2x2GB kit help?

You might need to add another .1 to your northbridge.

1.4v Northbridget voltage running a ~437fsb at 3.5ghz w/ four sticks of ram... is not enough.

Running an high FSB with quad w/ four sticks of ram puts alot of stress on the northbridge.

I'm even having issues getting them to register at 1066mhz and not 667mhz after resetting to stock, though. That's my main issue. I'll bare your suggestion in mind, though, for next time I overclock.

Have you try two sticks at a time?
