Default New RAM

I just picked up a kit of this stuff new on Ebay for $73 shipped.

Hopefully I won't have to RMA this 5 times like my Ballistix...

Plus I heard these go well with the IP35-Pro boards.

Cool beans, let us know how they overclock.

I've heard a few people having to RAM their Ballistix, maybe too much voltage?

The first kit I bought about a year ago is fine I think, but I recently bought 2 more sticks of the new single sided kind, and with all 4 sticks in I get errors. I am on like my 3rd RMA for the new kit, and the old kit was RMA'd once because one stick was DOA when I first got it.

I have terrible vdroop on this board. 1.44v set in BIOS is 1.42v idle and 1.39v load.

Temps are not too bad, about 52c full load with the stock cooler.

I doubt you'll get much out of that RAM. I got mine yesterday and it is barely stable at stock. I plan on sending mine back and getting something else.

I heard it is supposed to be good on IP35 boards, plus... my board cant hit 500FSB, so I probably will only go 900MHz max on this, I just got it because it was even cheaper than the DDR2-800 kit on Newegg.

You should have no problems at all at stock voltage then if your underclocking your ram to 900, seems like decent quality, maybe TheFlyingWallaby just got a bad batch of ram or maybe they just cant be overclocked. Either way good luck with it. Your temps are really good for stock heatsink and that high of a voltage, im at 1.3825 and I hit 60c under load with an ocz vendetta so your not in bad shape at all

The Abit IP35 Pro is about as easy as it comes when using RAM. It doesn't care about any brand that I know of. There are MANY GSkill users. Here is the Pro thread:
