FB-DIMMs???
Can you use FB-DIMMs on a normally motherboard like a X-48?

Not quite, to put it simple usually only server/workstation motherboards (putting Skulltrail aside) support FB-DIMMs. Besides they are very expensive, even if a normal desktop motherboard supported those, it would be just a waste of money.
