Hello once again!
Currently I am running two sticks of this in my rig. F2-6400CL-4S DDR2 800 4-4-4-12 1.9v - 2.0v (though for some reason it says 2.0 - 2.1 on newegg) I am thinking about upgrading very shortly since I switched to Vista Ultimate 64bit (which we all know is very memory hungry) as well as a lot of gaming. My current RAM is only single sided and i wanted to go dual channel since my mobo supports it. So my question is: Should I add on to the existing RAM, adding 4 more gigs for a total of 6 gigs or just replace it and run 4 gigs? Also if you could recommend me some RAM in either case, I would be very grateful. Other suggestions, opinions, or comments are appreciated. Thanks once again, you guys are awesome!

6 gigs is better than 4..

I was thinking about getting picking up THESE since they are such a close match to the original ones I am running. The only difference is the support for dual channel whereas the originals are only single.
I remember reading that if you mix single and dual channel RAM, the dual channel supported ram will run as they are supposed to...in dual channel if you install them something like this: Channel 0: slot 1 - Dual channel supported RAM Channel 0: slot 2 - Single channel RAM Channel 1: slot 1 - Dual channel supported RAM Channel 1: slot 2 - Single channel RAM Can anyone confirm this? Thanks

Yeahhhh...i would just pick up a good dual channel 4 GB kit, and replacing the ones you have. You're looking for trouble with that 6GB setup. I recommend these:

I'm sure that you could down clock the ram,and it should run fine. But I'd do some research just to be sure. This is also good ram:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231098

You shouldn't have to underclock it. My DFI DK X38's standard is 800, but I'm using that 1066 G.Skill kit at it's advertised speed and voltage with no problems.
