So my mobo/cpu combo allows for pretty decent customization. I'm getting confused though, about how I should be achieving a 1:1 ratio. I know I can push my cpu harder, but I want to understand this timing thing first. Here are my settings
Core Speed: 3552.3 MHz Multiplier: x 8.0 Bus Speed: 444.0 Rated FSB: 1776 (not sure what this is) I have my ram multiplier (also don't exactly know what that is) set to 2.4 to achieve as close to 1066 speed (444 x 2.4 = 1065.6 leaving me at 5:6) as I can, but I just don't get it. My mobo allows only preset numbers for the multiplier, like, 2.0, 2.4, 3.0, 3.2...all the way up to 4.0~ (with symbols signifying what strapping I'm in). What can I do to get a 1:1? Edit: I also just got new ram since I was having trouble with my XP2's...I got the SLI/NVIDIA OCZ DDR2 PC2-8500's. Cpuz says I'm running it at 333 thought? Makes no sense.

To get a 1:1 FSB:RAM Ratio, your memory should be rated the same speed as your Bus speed.

Oh! Ok that makes great sense! Thank you! Hope I can figure it out now.
