Default Need help with q9450 overclock! DRAM/FSB Ration questions

Ok I have bus speed set to 425 with a multi of 8 and a vcore of 1.275 with loadline calibration on(1.264 vcore in cpuz) In BIOS i have memory set to DDR2-1066 which is what this ram is but the system is reading the rated FSB as 1708 and even though I set the RAM speed to ddr2-1066 in BIOS according to cpu-z it is running the ram on a 4:5 ratio ddr2 533 5-5-5-15.

How the hell can i run my RAM at higher speeds(preferabbly 1066) and still maintain this glorious overclock of 3.4?!

any help would be appreciated and rep+!
<3

edit: just realized that 533 x2=1066. is it actually running at 1066 bc its ddr2? help im clueless lol!

yes, your RAM is actually running at 1066

its' dual channel, so CPU-Z shows what each channel is running at

so all is well then? ram is running at 1066 5-5-5-15 with a 4:5 ratio. CPU at 3.4

so how adversley does the 4:5 ratio effect performance in games and such?

You have an Intel chipset correct?

The 5:4 ratio doesn't adversely affect performance, it improves it (over a 1:1 ratio). 5:4 and 3:2 are my favorite ratios.
