Default Weird ratio n timings?
ok guys im currenly running my old e6400 which hasnt been used in yonks as i sold my q6600 to friend will upgrade again in a few weeks tho.. So ive noticed in Cpu-Z its showing my Ram being 400mhz.. timings are 5-5-5-18 and ratio is 2:3 everything is stock but still dont see how 400mhz is right its ddr2 ram

No need to emphasise the 2.

Original DDR, DDR2, and DDR3 all transfer twice per clock cycle.

DDR2 rate is 800/2 which is 400

that's what DDR2 means.
