Default DDR2 RAM Questions and Info

Part of my build, posted here - New [Q9550/4870/X48] Build
I know some of this may have been answered previously in other threads, but I would like one place to gather all info for my build. Thanks.

DDR2... None picked yet...
- What DDR2 RAM would overclock best (up to 1200-ish I suppose?) with an Intel Q9550 and an ASUS RAMPAGE FORMULA X48
- What settings should be used to overclock said RAM for best performance and stability with aforementioned Q9550 and mobo
- Best programs to use for stability tests and monitoring.
- Anything else I should cover with this?

+REP will be given for any help!

1) I'd probably use this ram. It's kinda expensive, but I think it's worth it for the quality.

2) If you want the ram to run at ~1200mhz, then a 2:3 ratio would work good. This would have the cpu at 3.4ghz (400mhz fsb) and the ram at 600mhz (1200 effective).

3) Here's a useful thread that was just started regarding this: http://www.overclock.net/intel-cpus/...rclocking.html

Hope that helps.
