Sorry for the double post, but I have a question.
__________________I have been looking around on Newegg, and this stuff looks like some of the fastest DDR2 around. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227230 It has good reviews on Newegg, as well as in various reviews/ benchmarks/ etc. all over the internet (I've been busy looking this stuff up). Also, its a pretty good price, $88 w/ free shipping after rebates for 4 gigs. Not to mention it has the most awesome cooler ever ![]() EDIT: Oops, I kind of forgot to ask my question ![]() What are your thoughts on this memory? anyone have personal experience, horror/success stories?

Yep, my ballistix tracers just died on me yesterday after 4 months. I had the 800mhz and I had 'em running at 900 4-4-4-12, and Rick Arter got his up to I think 1200 or something, it was on you tube. Ballistix are super good when they're not dying!

I've heard overall death stories about the micron D9s, that might have something to do with it.
I like your avatar urgrandpasdog.

OCZ Reapers... But they may be out of your price range? My 2x1gb kit hits 1200+ but they are rated for 1150 (pc9200)... I haven't pushed that hard with them yet... I am away on business atm... but when I get back to the UK the fun will begin.

Actually, OCZ reapers are not that expensive anymore. A few months ago It was like $100 for a 2gb set of reapers, but now it's like $33 after MIR. the only problem is that they are currently OOS @ the egg (along with the Flex). Does anyone know of another place in the US to buy memory that might have this stuff? Cause all the places around the net that I have seen with these modules are either OOS, cost about $300 per kit, no joke, or are in some weird currency, (It might be Indian rupees, but I'm not sure...)
