This is after running OCCT for a few 1 hour sessions AND passing a run of memtest.

My system is about as stable as a 3 legged dog at the moment trying to figure out this memory situation.
Your sticks might not be able to go as high.

I would try running them at DDR2 800 Cas 4, then overclocking to see how high you get with Cas 4 settings.

It would plummit the performance.

You need to be running over 1333mhz on a DDR2 setup to not see worse scores than Cas 5 DDR2 1066.

AMD (and i7's because of their IMC) need and rely on low Cas settings for performance, since the RAM is in direct communication with the CPU. Thus, its speed is not as much of a factor as it's ability to communicate with less delay.
Like I said above in a PM to another member on the subject; AMD systems rely heavily on low Cas ratings for RAM to get higher bandwidth because of the way the RAM communicates with the CPU almost directly.

Though, a few other factors do play into it as well, like your NB (IMC) clock. And sub timings, which can be equally as important for stability, and thus higher speeds at a lower Cas rating.

To put it in perspective,

And these were each done with the same NB clock. (2600mhz)
240HT x 11 = 2640mhz NB clock
220HT x 12 = 2640mhz NB clock

I got 1168Mhz satble @ 1.9v

Ive tried and tried all other options and this is how far I can push them with my P5K, I dont think the P5K can support such High rates without upping the volts on the NB.

@ current Im happy. 1168 - 1.9v <--- Alright?

Im using the same 3:4 ratio. the only ratio that the mobo can do stable. Strange. . .

Owdy

Not bad though.

3.5ghz & DDR2 1168mhz Cas 5 is a nice setup. Gratz man! Well done.

Though, your sig rig is a little messed up, I think your monitor should say 1920x1080. Not 1980x1080.

What is your TRFC at? And does your mobo have an option to set the Performance Level (PL) of the memory?

My TRFC options are all set to auto and I don't have the performance level option.
