Default OCZ Blade LV DDR2 - 1261mhz 5-5-5-18 @ 1.9v!

After my package had been delayed for almost a week (it got lost in the mail or something, thank you TNT) I finally got my package! So I started unpacking and took some pics.

The package.

One of the modules with black PCB.

The heatsink appears to have screws in the back.

The SPD table, strangely enough it doesn't contain a profile for 533, but 555mhz.

And here we go. 1261mhz 5-5-5-18 @ 1.9v!

Proof that it's memtest 2.11+ stable.

Wow, I might have to get these. I was checking over at Newegg, and they have them in stock. Is the only difference between the Platinum and Blade Series just the heat spreader?

The Blade series have a much thicker heatspreader, higher quality. They are even more "fat" then my G-Skill PI 1100's.

Now running 1200mhz 5-5-5-18 @ 1.9v. Hey, I'm not done yet

Yeah, the Platinum LV & Blade LV use the same IC's.

Though, I'd get the platinum and save a few bucks. As RAM really doesn't get that hot. You don't really need fancy heatsinks. And if you are worried, things like the Antec Spot Cool, OCZ, GeIL, & Corsair fan's will cool your RAM more than well enough.

EDIT: Wow! 1200mhz BRAVO! Nice work!

That's what I thought. I have plenty of airflow so that wasn't of concern. I have limits on the height, so the Blades will not fit; the Platinums will.

Thanks for the info.

1200 that's innnsaaaannnnesss.
