both 1066 /pc8500... can I combine them both to get 8gb?
gonna put it in my 2nd rig (in progress)
IIRC Dominators @ 2.0v and reapers@2.10v ....stock timings I forgot but Ill probably stick to stock timings. I googled this but only the first page of results didnt yield anything.

You can combine them but not having matching ram may hinder your overclock.

They should be able to run together, but it most likely won't be as stable simply because of having a four slots filled. Also, you will have to use the higher volts and the higher timings on both sets of ram.

If you run both sets at 1066, you will need 2.1v most likely. Other then that it will work fine, it doesn't matter if they are different brands as long as they can run the same settings.

I don't know if having 4 slots filled works well with the P5K Deluxe.

I guess Ill try it out as soon as I put it together...it will be matched with a q9550...Ill have to check the volt req on the dominators...I remember the reapers though being at 2.1v....the timings Im not certain for each (iirc 555-15 for the doms) hehe the other mobo is also a p5k...tnx guys rep to all
