I have 12 GiB of RAM installed. This screen capture illustrates how all 6 2 GiB dimms are detected, yet only 4 GiB overall. I tried switching interleave from 6 to 3, no change.
LinX only finds 4 GiB. What is going on?

Do you have a 64 bit operating system installed?

Notice in the screen shot, how it identifies each of the 6 sticks accurately, yet with 4 GiB total.
Could it be the IMC? I am doing "musical slots" right now (switching all the sticks around). I will be very grateful for any help.

I remember reading a review where they mixed 2 different brand 6 gig kits, one board it worked but wouldn't be stable, another board wouldn't POST, etc.
It may be the different kits you have will be recognized but just won't play nice, not really sure how to test the theory though...

i believe you have to enable memory remapping in the bios, i know it was that way with the old 775 boards sometimes.

Memory Remapping is the most likely reason. There should be an option in the BIOS that'll sort that out.
It could also be in msconfig> Boot> Advanced Options> Maximum Memory, but that's disabled by default.

None of the six sticks, individually, will allow the pc to POST, when in either slot of the 1st channel. (each channel is tied to two slots)
IMC?
