hi guys, sorri its a broad question, but im just stuck between choosing either 1600mhz kits with timings around 7-7-7-24 for £140 6gb kit, or the likes of 2000mhz kits at 9-9-9-30 etc for roughly same price 6gb kit.
Basically i want fast memory, and will be buying 2x 6 gb kits, so which is better lower timings lower speed, or higher timing faster speeds? thanks all

I'd suggest a 2000mhz kit, since you'll have flexibility of setting it to 1600mhz with tight timings if you want.
I don't know anything beyond that though. (As far as your main question.) I have my G.Skill Ripjaws at 1600mhz with 7-7-7-24 at the moment though.

I gotta be honest in saying that I'm a complete noob when it comes to these things, so I'll go with "It sure does look purty in that case."
lmao, I really don't know what to say besides "It works!".
