Default Need Help Choosing

Hello people

Right now I have 2GB Corsair Dominator 8500 and it's not enough.
I went to the local computer store and they don't have the exact same ram as mine but they do have 1066s.

They have Kingston Team Extreme Dark $104, G Skill PQ $105, Hyperx $109, G Kill Trident, $119, and Patriot Viper $119.

All of which are 4Gb and have 5-5-5-15 timings but differ in price.

I was wondering which one is good? I can tell u I like to game, video & audio convert and overclock.

Thank You

What ic's are on the kingston? Elpida's or elpida bbse ic's? It makes a difference as the same with the other kits.

And then it depends are you going to be overclocking, just running stock etc. Plus loading out the ram slots will place a little strain on the northbridge also. Might might need to bump the volts on it a little after adding some more ram.

I got the Vipers and when I put it in the voltages went straight up to 2.3v (setting on auto), and the timing became 5-7-7-29 (everything on auto).
That is really funny because on both of the RAMs, Corsair and Vipers, they say 5-5-5-15 on 2.1v.
But i over/undercolcked to 5-4-3-9 2T at 2.2v.
But still not faster that the Dominators by it's self
anyways thank you
and got any tips for overcloking please post
cheers

OK this is really annoying
Dual channeling them seems to BSOD after Everest 'System Stability Test'
now single channel no problems
any suggestions
btw no new hardware was added just the ram...

Do you get the blue screen only when overclocked in dual mode? Something might be getting too hot.

no not overclocked
it says 5-5-5-15 on 2.1 for both
so i left it at 5-5-5-15 at 2.2v
at 2.1v it doesn't boot
