seriously, i paid £29.99 for 4gb of ram and now there £93?

that is way to high... maybe they are going to start doing what they are currently doing with DDR ram and forking the prices up..

Ehhh come on guys, think about it now.

Do you think DDR memory is as cheap as it used to be? No, it's very expensive now.

DDR3 is now what manufacturers are producing, check the prices on DDR3 and notice how much it is coming down in price.

DDR2 is old now. It's not being manufactured or sold half as much as it used to, so therefore the prices go up.

It's exactly what happened with DDR and DDR2, now with DDR2 and DDR3.

Supply and demand. Also comes down to fabrication. DDR3 is out and is cheaper to produce.

Thus DDR2 is a little more expensive these days. I just got 4GB for a good deal. I am now selling my 2GB Ram kits in the FS section.

Even DDR3 has gone up. The 8GB Corsair XMS3 1600 DDR3 kit I've had my eye on for a few months has gone up from £155 to over £200 at some places.
