I have my q6700 at 3.3 but now that im installing win 7 and going to water cool to get my clock up higher what 8 gig kit should i get to get the best cpu speed?

Well ideally you would only use two of the ram slots, this allows for higher ram speeds which can give you more overclocking head room. What do you going to use your computer for and will it utilize the extra 4GB?

No real benefit at the moment over 4GB and Windows does not work well with VM turned off. Also its harder to overclock with 4 sticks of Ram then with 2.

mushkin is great memory, some of the best on the market.

oh, and it isn't that windows can't utilize 8GB of ram but rather that photoshop and most games won't see much if any improvement from 8GB of ram. In fact some games will even see a decrease in performance with 8GB vs 4GB because of the increased latencies.
