Default DDR2 in Pentium D 930

Ok, I'm a total newbie when it comes to OC, but I need to ask one really important thing - I'm about to get 2GB (2x1GB) of PC5300 667MHz DDR2, and I need you guys to help me fully understand all about timings (I mean ALL: I don't know anything - keep that in mind when you start explaining me so I don't get confused with all the tech talk). I need to know definitions and how-to's... If I understand correctly 667MHz (actual 333MHz) will work on same frequency as mobo FSB which is 200MHz (x4). If I downclock RAM also to 200MHz (and have it rated as 400MHz), will I get any gain in timings, and how the hell do I improve timings at all?! Is it something like: If frequency goes down then the timings automatically go down, or I need to have both parameters set manually... Please help!!!!!!!!
Thanks!

well there are 2 sticky's at the top of the post page, and here are two links also. they are mostly on ddr ram but the theories are the same and timing definitions are the same, just the actual settings change.
I know There are some on ddr2 that I found but will have to look for them.

Thanks for the preliminary info, but just tell for now - how do I tighten timings, what's the procedure?
