People who are into overclocking their PC's should not be buying anything that is marketed as "Value"
Value= worse memory timings and DDR400 speeds will if your lucky get 410mhz. XMS range and you are looking at much greater frequncies on tighter timings ![]() Value stuff should be left for the OEM PC's ![]() Along with a good PSU, your memory imo is your next most important consideration ![]()

To the doubter's..!
__________________Value RAM is not the same as the XMS range period ! As taeric pointed out the CORSAIR XMS range is the performance series starting with the C2 then LL then XL. The pro series offers no further gains in performance just the inclusion of LED's on the PCB, with the expert giving you the extra 'BLING' with programmable readout displays. The link to the newegg RAM is for the C2PT which is just the same as C2 but with Platinum heatspreaders. The performance of such is fine at those prices. My own TWINX 3200C2 ran 1:1 @ 215MHz 2-3-3-6 2.7Vdimm on the socketA XP-M 2600+ I had perfectly stable. However I have noticed that the prices for CORSAIR RAM in the USA by comparison to here in Australia is high (strange things do happen).
