Well ethernet ports just died on the board, have to rma it. I think it was a defunct board from the get go since when I first ran it stock, I would always get these off colour lines across the screen after post.

Internet ports? hhhmm.......have you tried looking into the ports, because that crap happened to me with my P5B Deluxe, suddenly after pulling the cat5 cable, some sort of pin inside the port (in the MoBo), got stuck and the pin wouldn't bounce back, so one pin was not making contact and no connection but.........once I notice the problem and pull the pin out (extremely gently), I got connected again, and this also happened with my D875PBZLK.

Well there are 2 ethernet ports and neither of them show up in device manager, I was only using the one port, all the connections on the inside of the board look ok though.

Ok moved my pc from work back to my house and now my ethernet ports show up in the device manager and are working again. Weird, well back to tweaking I guess. BTW anyone have this board yet?

New superpi results using 1.5, also got the memory to 1000mhz @ 5-5-5-12 with no problems, except that cpu-z can't detect my memory properly.

Got the EVGA board installed yesterday evening. Had issues with the zalman 9500 backplate. Fortunately its made of plastic so a bit of cutting with an exacto knife where the capacitors are housed and it now fits (good thing its the back of the motherboard, talk about a ghetto mod). Had time (before wife went berserk, its a sunday thing) to test it booting and power up, all looked fine. Tonight I hope I can format and reload xp and start reinstalling all of my backed up files and then 'finally' run some stock benches.
